BedZed eco-village

Words and selected photography for the Twentieth Century Society’s ‘Building of the Month’ series – the Beddington Zero Energy Development (BedZED) in south London is an eco-friendly community of 100 homes, an office, a school and a field, designed by architect Bill Dunster of ZEDfactory and completed in 2002.

Kengo Kuma pavilion Phuket

Words and context-led architectural photography for a story on Kengo Kuma’s pavilion at the Amanpuri in Phuket, Thailand for Wallpaper* magazine. ‘The space is about the site and the pathway,’ says Kuma, ‘we just happened to cap it with a series of roofs’.
